Hello! My name is Bella. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University and am currently pursuing my graduate degree in at Indiana Wesleyan University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult experiences, heal from trauma, and find hope and joy in their lives. I believe that healing is possible and that each person can grow and create positive change in their life.
My counseling approach is supportive, collaborative, and person-centered. I want to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I am particularly interested in working with individuals experiencing trauma, attachment wounds, developmental trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am also interested in helping clients build healthy relationships, strengthen their coping skills, develop self-awareness, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
Some of my professional interests include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy. As I continue developing as a counselor, I hope to pursue additional training in EMDR.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, crafting, and traveling to new places.
